"Preserve, Protect, Promote"
Our mission is to Preserve, Protect and Promote the deep agricultural heritage and the bright future of agriculture in Goshen, Connecticut. We aim to share the importance of preserving and protecting the remaining food-producing land in this beautiful town of Goshen, known as "The Land of Milk and Honey" and to promote the hard-working farmers who call Goshen home.
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but--most importantly--in the actions of our farmers and community. From the moment we started our work in 2008, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch the Goshen Agriculture Council (along with the non-profit, Friends of Goshen Agriculture, LLC.) We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.
